To learn how to SEO your website or blog, writers first need to make or write articles and have their websites ready. SEO or search engine optimization, is the ability of articles or websites filled with high paying Google keywords to come up faster within certain search engines or in specific searches.

Many writers have made the majority of their money, using adsense and making sure that their articles or websites were SEO friendly. Whenever we write, and get published, our articles are immediately sent out and distributed to several search engines: Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.. By making sure that our articles or Websites are SEO friendly or filled with special Keywords that are related or keep repeating the topic(s) we write about, we are making sure that our website or articles come out first within searches and that we make more money.

Adding keywords left and right to websites and articles sometimes does not do the job when it comes to having the website come out on top. This why writers have to make sure that they constantly update their websites and articles while marketing the newer version immediately right after.

Here are three simple steps to make sure that your website is SEO friendly:

  1. Include SPECIFIC keywords in the title of your website/ blog BEFORE you publish your work. Most people do not think about this at all, but in most cases, articles get read because readers are interested in the title of the websites!
  2. Have your articles be closely related to your website or blog. This is a must for many writers, especially for those who have a specific niche. This is why these days it is not unusual for many writer to have more than one blog or website for their business.
  3. Marketing, Marketing, Marketing. This is a must for any writer, in any stage of their career. More than half the time, writing the articles or updating a website on a daily basis does not do the work. Writers spend more than 50% of the time actually marketing their daily work, than working on it. Why? well, there is really no use in writing all of the time if no one is reading your work!

These are just some of the things that can help your website, blog or individual articles become more visible and come up more online! More tips coming soon!
