Learning How To Use Adsense In Your Blog/ Site
This is probably one of the most asked questions of the day, everyday. It's asked probably more than: How to make money from home? Or, How to make money by writing. Oddly enough, these two questions tie in together when people also ask:
How Can I make money with Adsense? And how can I increase Traffic to my blogs/ Websites?
This is a fairly common question that has unlimited answers to it. Traffic is a very important aspect when it comes to blogs, and websites. When we think of traffic, we think of the most undesirable situation: Sitting in a car with miles to go until we reach our destination.
However, when it comes to internet traffic, its not ONLY desirable, but it's also the most sought out answer online.
So, HOW DO WE GET MORE TRAFFIC TO OUR WEBSITES?
While there are hundreds upon hundreds of articles online all describing different, and "fool proof" ways to get traffic to your website(s), lets be honest: not all of these tips and tricks work for use. There is no "MAGICAL" way of getting traffic, but there are some easy ways of increasing traffic to your site, if you are willing to work a little bit.
To get the most out of adsense we need Traffic. To get more traffic, we need more EYEBALLS on our site. To get more readers interested in our work, we need To WRITE, AND KEEP ON WRITING! Let me repeat that: WE NEED TO WRITE, and KEEP ON WRITING! Nothing less than this will give us the amount of attention that we want online.
Adsense works like this: WE apply for adsense, then we use Adsense on our blogs, or websites. WE then start to work or write, then comes the traffic. When we get traffic, we get clicks, the more traffic we get, the more money we earn! Its simple, yet so hard for so many writers to achieve.
Why?
When writers start out writing, they often get stuck there, simply writing. In order to make ANY money on Adsense, you have to capture the attention of readers. You have to promote your work and your name online.
For example: If you saw someone set up a flower shop across from your house, and because you saw it, you were interested in it, you would go and see what the shop had to offer. If you saw that the shop only had a fist full of roses, and a couples of Vases, you would ask the owner: is there anything else? If the owner said: No, you would most likely walk away.
Now, lets say the scenario is different, and the flower shop was FULL of flowers, and you went inside, and asked the owner: So, how are you marketing your shop? If the owner said: I'm just hoping people will see it. You would turn around and start laughing your butt off at that comment!
You see, the problem that TOO many writers have, is that they stop writing on their sites/ blogs when they see that they have a few hundred visitors a week. This alone will not help them make a ton of money. SOME yes, but not enough to make a descent salary.
How to create a Steady amount of traffic to your blog/ website.
1. Create more posts. This should be an extremely easy way for those that LOVE to write because it's one of the easiest ways to make sure that your work get indexed faster. When you post more articles to your blog or website, you are automatically increase your chances of getting more traffic to your site. If you continuously post more of your work on your blog/ website you are increasing your traffic by at least 100 views a day. Search engines take into consideration how many articles you have, how much traffic you receive, and how many Backlinks you get. This in turn makes you more popular online, and it helps you achieve the traffic that you want.
2. Socialize and LInks. At first it may not be easy to create the amount of traffic that you need, this is its also important to socialize with other writers, and create chains so that people are able to find you. Say that you want to increase your traffic by 200 views a day. You need to create a chain online so that ANYWHERE readers often go for information, will find you, and your work. This is also why so many writers choose social bookmarking sites to market their work, so that they can create chains for their work.
- Connect all of your websites, and connect all of the social bookmarking sites together. This way any person will find you with ease, and will be able to follow your work. Whenever a person finds me on Twitter, Facebook or even Linkedin, about 90 percent of the time, they click on my work. This alone creates a good amount of traffic to my articles on my Blog, and here on HUbpages.
- Socialize with other writers within your niche. Even if you think you don't have a specific niche, find at least two freelance forums, or websites to meet other writers, and be able to leave a comment, and possibly your websites URL there. You can be surprised just how much traffic this can bring to your articles!
3. Tools and Keywords. There are two online tools that I use whenever I write an article online: Google keyword Tool, and Traffic estimator. Do you have any idea just how much TRAFFIC certain words get??
No? Well, let me give you a hint. Words just as: Words, Ways, house, Time, Money, Management, work, Beginnings, Estimate, climate, and so on.. These words get searched approximately: 80,000 times to 90, 000 times a MONTH! Yup! Now, how hard do you think it would be to use these words a few times in a couple of your articles and then submit them to search engines??
When writers use this tool, it actually works to their advantage! This is one of the MOST POPULAR tool, because writers can easily search and use words such as the ones I named above, and use them in their articles!
Many writers say: It can't be THAT EASY, right?? Well, as a matter of fact, yes it is! Writers who take their time to do their research before submitting their articles to be published, actually have a much easier time getting traffic, because they have three things in their articles: Keywords, A niche, AND Detailed Information! These three things combined will allow you to get searched more, attract the attention of readers, AND get them to come back for more!

Thank you for this advice. Well written. Sometimes I think it is lack of motivation that stops us back linking.
